Staff from the Campbell River Women’s Centre and the Ann Elmore Transition House invite you to come to a learning workshop on supporting women who have experienced violence or abuse. This workshop is for workers and community members who want to understand the complex issue of violence against women.
The presentation will include information on:
-Current Canadian data
-Understanding the cycle of violence
-Myths and realities
-Ways to provide support towards women’s safety will be presented
-An interactive group case study discussion on supporting women on Cortes Island
