Supporting Cortes Island Families.

The Cortes Island Family Support Program exists to support island families in becoming healthy, strong and resilient.  Projects of the program include the annual Cortes Island Wellness Fair, parenting workshops and direct support to families in need. Through the program, confidential support is available for families experiencing financial, emotional and health challenges.

Family Support Program

The program is a project of the Cortes Community Health Association with funding provided by private donors, BC Gaming and Success by Six. The CCHA Family Support Program is proud to partner with the Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children, Decoda (Literacy Now) and the Strathcona Regional District to enhance service delivery to Cortes Island families.

We can help with Financial Support & Relationship Support for Women. We organize the Wellness Fair and also have regular Youth Programs.

The Cortes Island Family Support Program and Youth Programs are projects of the Cortes Community Health Association, a registered charity. Our programs make a significant, positive impact on the youth and families that live year-round on Cortes Island. We welcome donations of any amount in support of our service to the local community.
