This comprehensive course covers CPR, airway emergencies, wound care, spinal injuries, poisons and more. Certificate is valid for 3 years.
Emergency Childcare First Aid & CPR Certificate

This course covers first aid as it applies in a childcare setting. Ideal for parents, satisfies Island Health requirements for childcare providers. Certificate valid for 3 years.
Prepared Parent Workshop

Childcare available by donation in the Playschool
Non-certificate info session covers CPR, choking, and other topics relating to children. By donation.

Mary McLean has been a First Aid and CPR Instructor since 2005, and the owner of West Coast First Aid Services since 2012. She comes from a background in Geology (BSc., 1986) and Education (BEd., 1993) and has worked as a First Aid Attendant in agriculture, forestry and manufacturing. Mary is a 10- year active member and trainer of the Mount Washington Volunteer Ski Patrol.
