All CCHA Youth Programs on Pause – no programs until further notice

*This announcement applies to KIA, AIL, Teen Szene and Cortes Cougars Sports

In light of the BC Ministry of Education’s decision to close schools, and the SD72 district’s enforcement of that decision, the Cortes Island School is closed indefinitely. The CCHA Youth Programs understands the serious nature of British Columbia’s work to contain the spread of COVID-19 in order to protect vulnerable people and not overwhelm the healthcare system.

In support of those efforts, as of Friday, March 20th, 2020, the CCHA Youth Programs will pause, and not resume programming until the schools are given permission to re-open. The remaining programs scheduled for the last week of March are all cancelled.

If you have any questions about the resumption of programming, please email Jodi Peters, or phone 250-935-6608.

Take care, get outside, maintain your 2 meter social distance, but feel free to hug a tree!
